With a brand list that includes both larger well-known green beauty brands, to lesser known indie brands, everyone is sure to find a new favorite here.  So how does Aubrey design her perfect shop? She explains:

First, they have to be clean products, truly clean, no green washing!  Organic is a plus, but not necessary. We also have to love the product ourselves and know that it’s effective.  I really use many of the products we carry – You should see the lineup of face oil in my bathroom, I am a legitimate face oil addict!  Our brands have to be committed to a green lifestyle, too.  I really believe that purchasing something as simple as mascara can change people’s lives!

In addition to her shop where you can find some of their top selling brands such as Indie Lee, Siam Seas & 100% Pure, they also offer a monthly Ecoluxe Beauty Box.  Currently, the box is comprised of at least 1 full size product and a few samples.  There will always be at least four different products included, and they are working toward including more full size items.  This box is a phenomenal value, particularly for those who are just transitioning to cleaner products, because at $20 per month, you will have the opportunity to try truly luxurious products from indie brands and more established green brands at a great price!

My skin is dry, but I still get cystic acne on my chin.  I also had melasma terrible when I was pregnant.  My last pregnancy, which was my third, wreaked havoc on my skin and the brown patches have been difficult to fade, and if I was using something that was fading them just by being in the sun an hour, with sunscreen, would cause spots to reappear.  This has really helped fade the dark spots I had and keep new ones from coming.  Plus my skin is very hydrated, smooth and just overall more radiant!  It has also helped with my cystic acne.  It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and that is major for a product that does so much! I have been tremendously happy with it.  My husband even commented on how nice my skin looks for the first time ever!

Farah: The biggest reward of owning Aurora Beauty is the incredible individuals that I get to meet and interact with from all walks of life. Farah: The biggest challenge was definitely having to wear many different hats as a small business owner and finding the right balance between the business and family life.
